Crane Data published its latest Weekly Money Fund Portfolio Holdings statistics Tuesday, which track a shifting subset of our monthly Portfolio Holdings collection. The most recent cut (with data as of May 20) includes Holdings information from 63 money funds (unchanged from a week ago), which represent $1.912 trillion (down from $2.150 trillion) of the $4.948 trillion (38.6%) in total money fund assets tracked by Crane Data. Our latest Weekly MFPH Composition summary again shows Government assets dominating the holdings list with Repurchase Agreements (Repo) totaling $973.4 billion (down from $1.033 trillion a week ago), or 50.9%; Treasuries totaling $725.7 billion (down from $824.8 billion a week ago), or 38.0%, and Government Agency securities totaling $111.1 billion (down from $133.2 billion), or 5.8%. Commercial Paper (CP) totaled $36.3 billion (down from a week ago at $48.3billion), or 1.9%. Certificates of Deposit (CDs) totaled $18.4 billion (down from $42.3 billion a week ago), or 1.0%. The Other category accounted for $28.9 billion or 1.5%, while VRDNs accounted for $18.0 billion, or 0.9%. The Ten Largest Issuers in our Weekly Holdings product include: the US Treasury with $725.7 billion (38.0% of total holdings), the Federal Reserve Bank of New York with $660.9B (34.6%), Fixed Income Clearing Corp with $54.2B (2.8%), Federal Home Loan Bank with $51.2B (2.7%), Federal Farm Credit Bank with $50.8B (2.7%), BNP Paribas with $34.0B (1.8%), RBC with $26.4B (1.4%), Barclays PLC with $17.6B (0.9%), Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corp with $17.1B (0.9%) and Citi with $16.8B (0.9%).
