The annual Mutual Funds and Investment Management Conference, which will take place March 27-30, 2011, in Palm Desert, CA, will feature a panel on money market mutual funds this year. The conference description says, "ICI and FBA Examine Current Issues Impacting Investment Companies. The panel on "Short Term Markets and Money Market Funds" will take place on Monday, March 28, and will discuss "Current regulatory agenda at the SEC and beyond, Tri-party repo task force update, and Implementation of new 2a-7 rules."
